UX Design

Increase revenue with a user-centric design.

Mitigate churn, drive adoption, and convert.

TLDR: We leverage psychological principles, testing, and research to drive design that considers the relationship between a user (customer) and the product (your site/app/business).

We build intuitive and usable interfaces rooted in research and an understanding of user expectation. With a wide breadth of offerings and a drive to convert, we can't wait to solve your problem.

From low-fidelity proof of concepts to fully interactive and buttoned-up prototypes, and the research and process in between, we serve as an extension of your in-house design team.

We build incredible user experiences.

"Can't say enough about how much they just get it when it comes to how our sales cycle works."

why metriq?

We frown at gatekeeping knowledge. As we build great products together, we aim to educate our partners on UX best practices and what’s working for their businesses.

It’s not uncommon for clients to be subjected to an agency partner that leverages overseas or external partners to keep costs down and protect revenue. We don’t do that. We think it’s kind of gross.

There are hundreds of agencies using the same dozen or so UI kits when building out your product. By contrast, we have built our own proprietary robust, technical, and psychology-driven kit that drives true innovation, and it’s the kept up-to-date BY US.

The goals, market, users and parameters.

We start each project with defining the elements and factors of a project. This helps support scope, but also allows for visibility into final deliverables and iteration work. In our experience, this really is a necessity for an effective execution

first modeling.

Most of UXD principles and frameworks revolve around one key word: empathy. We like to take it a step further, and build out persona is an understanding of the market as a whole based on findings. This isn’t necessarily a step that every agency will conduct, and is usually leveraged as a way to convince someone to do business with you, but we want to build an understanding of mental modeling, so we can really sit in the shoes of your audience to build a product and experience that engages in forms quickly

the plan.

Planning is a key part of any strategic initiative. It can separate success from failure and quality from waste. Part of our planning process is to understand how we can leverage our findings to this point to build the product that we know the market is looking for. It may seem trivial, as planning is a part of any projects, inevitably, but we take this stuff, incredibly serious, as we want to mitigate risk, and be able to speak to why and how we intend to solve the problem.

and implement.

It’s incredibly easy for agencies to complete a project, send an invoice, and move onto the next big deal. We like to slow our way out of a project by also prioritizing new analytics, based on our projects execution, and getting an understanding of user sentiment, so we can make sure that we are positioned well and responsive to any Necessary action. Testing is what makes a great campaign from an OK campaign.

and build understanding..

One of the main ways we differ, so vastly from our competitors is that we like to offer up value long after our project is closed. We do this by offering a synopsis or summary of our findings through the process, traditionally, rooted in data, both qualitative and quantitative, we hope to be able to bring value to your brands growth, so that way when you need a partner in your next endeavor, or at least in the running. Clients regularly champion for our agency, based solely on our ability to highlight the findings so that they can move forward with her brand, and not feel that they have to be a life standing partner of our agency to see success.

Frequently Asked Questions

We would love to not waste your time with discovery. Here are some key high-level questions we get often.

How much will this cost me?
Our hourly rate is always set: 125$ per billed hour. But there are ways to bring your average hourly billed rate down. Feel free to contact us and discuss your specific project(s).
Why do I need UX Design?
We say user experience is the new customer service. No product or site “needs” UX, but the opportunity cost could mean the difference between growth and Chapter 12. Third parties studies suggest the expense of a poor experience could equate to millions in revenue, and that’s before considering the compounding effects.
Why should we pick you over competitors?
metriq brings vast experience, scientific application, human-to-human communication, and a relaxed, results-driven partnership from day one. And it doesn't hurt that a lot of our competitors use us anyway and tell you it was them.
Will metriq conduct the research?
Only when it makes financial sense for your budget. If third-party research will suffice from reputable and established UX research firms, we won’t waste your time or money. We will instead pivot those efforts towards building the incredible with you.
How long does it all take?
It completely and entirely depends. We know. We hate that answer. But it comes down to what you need to be done. We often are fortunate enough to start on a project, and either via scope creep, or an interest to work together more, find a recursive relationship might be the best fit for your growth goals. But our goal is always to solve the problem you brought to us, and let you resume work.
